Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 4th 2025

Welcome to Pi227, provided by COS Software, C/O Dogu Cigsar, based in Ontario, Canada. By using Pi227, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

  1. Overview of Service

Pi227 is an online platform designed to help students and teachers manage homework, track schoolwork, organize plans, and share school-related announcements. Users can upload and manage educational content such as assignments and notes.

Teachers and school staff may suggest tasks to students, but students retain control over whether to accept them into their schedule.

  2. User Accounts

A user account is required to access Pi227.

Accounts can be created by any individual, including students and teachers.

Sign-in is available through Microsoft login or, in special cases, through email login credentials issued by our team.

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for all activities under your account.

  3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to do any of the following:

    • Upload or share spam or promotional content
    • Post any material that is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate
    • Attempt to access, interfere with, or compromise system security or other users’ data
    • Use automated tools to interact with the service (e.g. bots, scrapers) without permission

COS Software reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account found violating these terms and to report unlawful activities, including hacking attempts, to appropriate authorities.

  4. Availability and Access

Pi227 is provided free of charge to individual users and students.

Schools or institutions that wish to integrate Pi227 at scale may require a formal contract.

While we strive to provide continuous access, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and there may be times when the service is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or other issues.

Reverse engineering, copying, or redistributing the platform’s code, design, or functionality is strictly prohibited.

  5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, accept, or share using Pi227. COS Software is not liable for data loss or harm caused by user actions, such as deleted homework or misuse of information by others.

We store and process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Canadian data protection laws.

  6. Termination

COS Software may suspend or terminate your access to Pi227 at any time if you violate these terms or use the platform in a way that could harm others or the system.

If the account in question belongs to a student affiliated with a school that uses Pi227, the account will not be suspended or terminated immediately. Instead, COS Software will report the issue to the school's administrator or designated contact. The student will retain access unless the administrator requests restriction or suspension. COS Software will follow the school’s decision regarding further action.
